the format i first got into collecting - i was a silly kid in high school so i thought it was Super Cool And Unique to collect records.... i started with a yellow crosley suitcase player (no longer....)
then i got into tapes. started with a walkman plugged into my reciever, then upgraded to a tapedeck, and now the belts are too worn on my deck to play so im back to ole reliable sports walkman!!! i make mixes sometimes but only 2 of my friends can play casettes
most recent Autism Collection! most bands i like sell CDs on bandcamp (sometimes tapes but not all the time) for pretty cheap so i kinda had to. i bought a CD drive to make mixes for my friends haha they humor me!!
i also have mp3 players!! i'm the proud owner of a flashmodded 5.5 gen classic with a super cool clear face plate (one at a time ladies i know WOW) and a 4gb 3rd gen nano. I have a bunch of CHAI, most TV girl releases, frankie cosmos, lamp, tyler and a few others. i'll do a tutorial on how i get my music Totally Legally for free on my ipod because unfortunatley youtube to mp3 conversion and itunes are a dying art.... kids these days.....
my stereo has been a work in progress since about my sophomore year of high school- i didn't get this all in a day! it's been a long time coming just like my collection. also, a lot of it was gifted to me by my dad and his best friend. they were super excited to offload donate their old stereo equipment to me and i'm very fortunate for that!
